Private commissions are something that I feel privileged to undertake, and they have become a regular part of what I do.
Above is a painting I created for clients in a beautiful property in the Cotswolds. Just look how the sitting room has
accents of colour based on the painting. This particular commission was in collaboration with an interior design team.
Many of my clients like to use a painting to set the tone of a room, with their favourite colours and themes based on how
they use the room, for example playing games and music and spending time with friends.
For others it's all about their loved ones, capturing a moment in time. This client told me that "the painting has
dramatically changed the feel of our sitting room and the way it is used. it"really interesting that guests spend time in it,
when they used to stay out the back in the kitchen and dining room...... We are enjoying it so much!"
This wonderful couple decided to have a triple portrait of themselves with their beloved dog Pablo. They had just moved
into their new home and wanted a statement piece for their lounge.
This client told me "We like the portrait very much,
Especially how you have captured ourselves and Pablo"
"We are very proud of your beautiful work"
On delivery of this painting this is the text I received from my client. "Oh my gosh the painting is so so so so incredible, it is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. I can't stop looking at it. So excited to put it up. Thank you so so so much"
The clients who commissioned this piece love flowers and plants and were inspired by a similar piece I had painted and
opted to add in a few meaningful objects of their own into the composition including a vase and a set of beads they had
collected on their travels.
